What Does Travel Mean?

“Kosha odi nodu, desha sutti nodu” as the saying goes learn either by reading heap of books or by travel around places.

Education from books provides us the theoretical knowledge, but travelling provides us the practical knowledge.

For example:

A person who does not travel at all will identify Kurukshetra as a battle field of Mahabharata or a place where Bhagavad Gita was preached. But, Kurukshetra has a lot more of specialties other than that to see and to learn about. Recent days, modern man a lot more curious to travel around especially to the place of Historical interest rather than learning from books.

Travelling has now become an important part in today’s educational system. It is difficult to understand the nature of soil, climate, forests and culture of people just by studying in books. 

Travelling for Educational purpose releases the new thoughts and ideas grow up in students. “Like all great travelers, I have seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen”. This quote of Benjamin Disraeli exactly explains what role travelling plays in a student’s life.

With today’s invention, travelling has now become easy, quick, cheap, comfortable and pleasant. The purpose of travelling varies from person to person. Few travel for fun, few travel on office work, some travel to release their stress and anxiety. Travelling to places also gives us information which we would otherwise not learn.     

The best trips, are like the best love affairs, never really end. The main thing in travelling is to learn a lot of new things and to take the positive of the world’s perception.
